MC228 is maleic anhydride (MAH) modified LLDPE, mainly used as compatibilizer in halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) cable. It could significantly improve the interfacial compatibility between polyolefin and inorganic flame retardant (Al(OH)3, Mg(OH)2, etc.) to uniform dispersion. By using MC 228, the processing performance, mechanical properties and flame retardance of the cable could be improved meanwhile.
