Yesterday we were at the Smart Process Manufacturing Congress in Würzburg. 

After six years of being named „Digital Plant Congress“, just now the focus of the yearly event has shifted to becoming the first German networking platform concerning itself with the digital transformation of the German process industry. The reason for this is the rapidly growing importance of digital solutions and concepts for the chemical industry, with associations and suppliers steadily looking for the right way into the digital future. 

Our co-founder Heribert-Josef Lakemeyer gave a talk about the chances and challenges of creating a trading platform for chemicals and plastics. Furthermore, PINPOOLS was represented through a booth where Heribert-Josef answered questions about PINPOOLS’ vision for the future.
